Our story began in 2022, in the bustling San Francisco Bay Area, during a pivotal moment in founder Kiana Gatson’s life. Years of fast food consumption and misinformation about nutrition had taken a toll on her health—and the results were impossible to ignore. Acne flare-ups covered her face, back, shoulders, and chest. Inflammation, bloating, and poor digestion caused hair loss, low morale, muscle depletion, and constant illnesses.

In search of clarity, Kiana drove through city after city, hoping to find peace of mind. Instead, she noticed the alarming reality: underserved communities, including her own, were surrounded by fast food chains, liquor stores, and limited access to healthy food. These environments created cycles of poor health—ones she herself had fallen victim to.

That night, Kiana made a decision. She began researching and educating herself about food, its impact on the body, and its role in shaping communities. Armed with knowledge, a handful of freshly picked berries, vegetables, and a vision for change, The Bossy Me was born.

Today, The Bossy Me is dedicated to empowering underserved communities with nutrient-rich, planet-friendly wellness products. Our mission is to break the cycle of unhealthy habits by making wellness accessible and attainable for all.
